It also helps to keep the product from incurring scratches.

Another popular product used to ship fragile products is bubble wrap. Bubble wrap is popular for a few reasons. Not only is it effective at protecting the product, it is also fun to pop after receiving the product. Also, like plastic it is lightweight and low in cost. Bubble wrap offers extra layers for small or medium sized objects that need a bit of added protection.

Another popular product used to protect fragile items is shrink wrap. It is mainly used for perishable or high priority items. After the product has been sealed with shrink wrap heat is applied to ensure a tight seal is made. This is why the product is perfect for protecting perishable goods to keep a tight seal with moisture on the outside. It also keeps the product from receiving scratches.

Tissue paper is often used as a product around another product. For example, tissue paper can be put on a fragile good and then placed within a box. It can also be used to fill empty space in case the item moves during transportation or is mishandeled. Glass and other items are often wrapped in tissue paper first.

Two other popular protective products are tape and loosefill. Loosefill often comes in the form of Styrofoam chips and is used to fill space within a box and act as a cushion for smaller products. There are various types of tape used to seal the box for the ultimate protection and can be chosen according to product type. When all the shipping products mentioned above are used together they create the ultimate shipping protection of fragile items.
