Improve Eyesight Today By Giving Up Your Eye Glasses - The Facts

By Joel Sherman

Accept it or not, eyeglasses have a history that may be traced back at least as far as the Roman empire, where we know that Nero made use of a concave lens set in a ring to enhance his view of the games going on in the Roman Coliseum. Exactly as is the case today, though Nero could have experienced a transient improvement in vision and doubtless some solace from eye discomfort and pain, he was likely worsening his vision in the long term and never putting his eye muscles in a position where they could revive themselves to normal. Sadly, the most generally shared info on improving eyesight rarely even touches on the various options which are available to improve eyesight naturally.

Much of the science regarding natural vision improvement, which is as legitimized and respected today as when it was at first developed in the early 1900's, is explicitly traced to Dr William H Bates, who had very powerful feelings about glasses. He concluded, and supported with his studies, several significant facts about eyesight correction using glasses. He disagreed that glasses force the eye muscle to adapt to the specific correction, whether that be concave, or convex, or astigmatic. Because our eye muscles can never maintain the exact same level of correction, a situation is made which, in principle will require new lenses for every level of re-correction which our eyes experience. Being practical, that is not possible as the eye muscles correct continually. The reply by most is to go to the eye doctor once a year, learn that their vision has deteriorated, and leave with an even stronger prescription as the cycle starts to repeat itself once again. It is commonly accepted that you've done the decent thing for your eyesight, but when you actually consider the science, one would easily conclude that while offering non permanent improvement, stronger and stronger prescriptions are really worsening the condition of your eyes. A simple way to think about this is as follows.

Irrespective of what the condition of your eyesight, from extremely poor to 20/20 vision, the clarity of form and color as seen thru a window (in this example, the equivalent of glasses with no prescription), will be worse than the clarity of both color and form by looking immediately at the same object or objects.

The majority of people who rely on some kind of vision correction might ignore this science as being too good to be accurate. Nonetheless if you're someone who currently wears eyeglasses or contacts, is preparing to begin wearing glasses or contacts, or at an extreme, considering Lasik surgery, you owe it to oneself to go to us and find out more about how it's possible for you to forget any of these artificial and more high-priced choices, and improve you eyesight naturally, with very little cost, compared against these other strategies.

Eventually, and maybe most vitally, each step you take down the natural path is a step toward healing and strengthening the eye muscle permanently, and not only a non permanent fix till you want that stronger prescription or maybe Lasik Surgery.
