Exercise in the number way to help your body, however whenever people hear this they shut down so I will not begin with something that people tend to see as so daunting, and will begin with the air you breathe. I know it seems like such a little thing but actually most people don't know that the air you breathe can cause major illnesses such as asthma, autoimmune disease, and allergies. The World Health Organization estimates that 45 percent of all buildings pose a serious health hazard due to indoor air pollution. Did you know that indoor air can be up to 10 times more hazardous than outdoor air? The solution is to get more outside air indoors by opening windows, or clean your indoor air with air purifiers such as one with a UV-oxidizer.

Want to stay energized! Watch what you eat! Over 2.1 million deaths occur each year that are related to poor nutrition, and that is not people who don't get enough to eat but in fact are eating too much and become obese. By buying healthier , fresher seasonal foods, and consuming smaller meals more often, instead of 3 large meals you will not only feel lighter on your feet but your body will respond with more energy. Just remember not to go extreme, especially when first going about making changes to your diet because if you deprive yourself of foods you love you will over-eat trying to find that "satisfaction". Eat small amounts of your "craving" foods to begin with and eventually you will be able to eliminate them all together.

Changing up your lifestyle with healthier choices is a great place to start on the track to great wellness, however don't forget there will be times when the body does get sick and you will need a medical professional. Don't let your health insurance go by the way side; having great health care is part of a healthy lifestyle because it backs you up. Should an illness occur it would be in your best interest to have health insurance to get you back on your feet as quickly as possible.

They say you are what you eat, how about you are who you hang out with? Friends can make the difference between whether you succeed or fail by the way they enhance your life or not. If you hang out with people who provide support, acceptance, and love you are more likely to have a positive out-look on life and move in more positive directions; if on the other hand you have friends that make you feel consistently exhausted or stressed-out after spending time with them, then your friendship might just be diminishing your health and shortening the positive opportunities that could have come your way in more positive circumstances. Choose people to surround your life who embrace you and support positive changes you want to make in your life.

Don't let yourself become depressed by past decisions, or a lack thereof because it is very draining on the body and does nothing for the benefit of your health. Start with small steps, choose one thing in your life that you would like to change for the positive and move towards it, when you feel this has become a healthy habit move on to your next goal. Keep it simple and your choices will become your great reward.
