The Very Worst Food items Ever!

By Athena Hunter

The world is full of food that tastes good and is still incredibly bad for you. Some of these meals are instantly identifiable: fast food, to use one example, is quite tasty but loaded with calories and other things that will damage our bodies in major ways. But what about the foods that look like a perfectly acceptable thing to eat? What about some of those food items that you just feed to your kids? In this article we are going to have a look at a number of the very worst things you could ever feed yourself or your family members.

One of the worst things on the planet, believe it or not is a dish of macaroni and cheese. The type you make at home all on your own using the boxes of Kraft or Annie's should be mostly okay but most of the time the macaroni and cheese you order from restaurants is not. The Kids' Mac and Cheese meal from California Pizza Kitchen, as an example is frighteningly unhealthy. This one food item weighs in at more than a thousand calories, more than sixteen hundred milligrams of sodium and just about forty grams of saturated fat! No component to that is truly healthful.

How frequently do you pick up a frozen pot pie from the freezer section of your grocery store? These seem like mostly healthy last minute meals but they are in fact full of calories that you don't need. The pot pies from Stouffer's, for instance, generally contain more than eleven hundred calories, more than sixty grams of fat and almost eighteen hundred milligrams of sodium. You could wind up eating all your recommended caloric intake if you are on a mission to lose weight--just by eating one of these things!

You possibly think that a vegetarian sandwich must be among the healthiest things you can order from a fast food place, right? The genuine truth of the matter is that, since you will probably putting dressings and other condiments in this sandwich as well, they are usually just as unhealthy as a sandwich packed with meat. The vegetarian sandwich you are eating from Blimpies is packed with a lot more than thirty five hundred milligrams of sodium, almost sixty grams of fat and almost twelve hundred calories. Why do people imagine that is healthful?

Surely a salad, of all things, has to be healthy. Most people suppose it is accurate anyway. When we need a little something easy and healthy we usually turn toward a salad to fill us up with food that is good for us. Would you be astonished to find out, then, that there are some salads on the market that are almost bad for you? The Santa Fe chopped salad coming from TGI Fridays, as an example, weighs in at eighteen hundred calories. This may well be because the salad is the size of a big dinner plate but consider it: do you want all of your caloric intake for the day to be used up by this one salad?

The simple fact is that most of the food that we acquire on the go or in restaurants is simply not going to be as good for us as the food we make ourselves. Cooking in your house might feel boring or irritating but if you are trying to lose weight and get healthy, this is the best thing that you can do for yourself.
