It can hold around 50 pounds, so it is very useful. My husband liked it so much and he made me order one for him too. I have always secretly wanted one of these tables since I watched it on an infomercial years ago. As a TV tray it's facing the wrong direction for using it while sitting in bed, but turning my 6 lb.
I checked the underside of the one I bought a couple of years ago and there's no drink holder on that one so apparently the design changed.
I will be purchasing one for myself. This made it suitable to hold maybe a dinner plate and such but I had intended to use it for typing and due to the warping issue I feel I really can't trust it with something like a laptop. I couldn't find where to get any I picked up this table in a Warehouse Deal since the regular product page had it on back order.
Exactly as advertised. We ordered a second, two weeks after the first. Just what I wanted - a light weight table I can move easily to put it by my chair.
It serves my purpose which is working on my laptop outside in the backyard. I give it 4 stars for price, but it's a bit more than what I'd pay.
I like to sit on the sofa so I can be around the rest of the family as opposed to stuck in my office at my desk so it is important for me to have adequate support for my laptop. I think it was her favorite Christmas present.
Also the drink holder on the side is perfect as well. We've been very pleased with this one as well. I give it 4 stars for price, it's a bit more than what I'd pay. I bought this because I wanted a TV tray I could use from my ez-chair.
It's amazingly sturdy despite what its design suggests, Great value overall. Wonderful in front of a couch or chair or even bedside.
After about a month, the right side has started to bow in the middle, probably because the cup holder offers less support underneath (even though I am not placing any extra weight on that side; in fact I tend to put more weight on the opposite end). It looks great and the durable wood grain color matches the big computer desk and other furniture in my home office.
I was hoping for a tray that would work better with my lazy boy chair and couch as far as holding my laptop but the furniture leg design won't allow for the optimum location but its still nicer than a tipsy TV tray This is a great product because I can adjust height so it can fit almost anywhere.
Why is something so useful and unique so incredibly UGLY? I have had them about a month and they are holding up.
