Beach Houses In Gulf Shores Alabama For Vacations

By Flora Vinson

Beach houses in Gulf Shores Alabama are all sold out each year for the summer vacations. This part of the coast that straddles both Florida and Alabama is a tourist magnet. But it's not just because of the sparkling calm of the emerald green waters gently lapping into sugary white sand beaches.

It's also because visitors are swept up in the holiday atmosphere. There are concerts right on the beaches, like the Hangout Music Festival. Guests can enjoy performances by everyone from the Dave Matthews Band to Red Hot Chili Peppers.

On rare occasions, visitors might get lucky and witness a performance by local legends like Jimmy Buffett. The food at these events is worth the visit all by itself. The tasty and fresh seafood is from the day's catch, moved from fishing boats to dining tables within a few hours at most.

To make it more special, consider an al fresco dinner by the moonlight. With the smell of the sea breeze and the feel of the sand underfoot, it's hard not to get swept away by the moment. The food doesn't necessarily have to be seafood, since the restaurants are just as skilled at serving up everything from Mexican to fast-food and BBQ or steaks.

In the center of all this, there are homes located right on the beaches available for visitors. These properties stretch end to end on East as well as West Beach Blvd along Little Lagoon and then again near the Gulf State Park. Inland properties located around Oyster Bay and Bon Secour are also close enough to offer a beachfront stay.

A lot of people who come to stay in these Beach houses in gulf shores alabama have flown in to popular destinations nearby like Pensacola or Mobile. These places can boast of the exact same sugar sand beaches and similar dining, entertainment and shopping choices. But somehow, a holiday here is very different and probably due to the love for music and a holiday atmosphere that's thicker than the sea breeze.
