Getting adequate sleep is one of many simple beauty tips that simply cannot be overlooked. Actually getting an adequate of sleep every night is essential for functioning on a high level, so even if you decide that your appearance is not a good enough reason to go to sleep earlier, then your overall health should be a good reason. Consistently getting inadequate sleep can have a negative effect on your appearance. Under eye circles is just one of the many unsightly side effects of not getting enough sleep.

Toss the soda, and go for the H2O. Drink glasses of water to stay hydrated. Other beverages simply don't match up to the beauty boost you get from pure water. Even though researchers have found that drinking water does not necessarily moisturize skin, being dehydrated can make your skin look pale and unhealthy. Being dehydrated can also make your eyes look sunken and tired. So drink water with your meals when you get the chance, and you'll feel and look better!

Remove your makeup each night. Have you ever woken up without taking off your makeup? The smeared colors dry out your skin, and sometimes you have to scrub vigorously on the delicate skin around your eyes and mouth to get it off. What's worse, is that the makeup that stays on your face all night can clog pores and create acne, blackheads and other types of infection. The best way to avoid all of these negative effects is by removing the makeup before you go to bed. Many makeup companies sell products and formulas that help you gently remove makeup. Look for the kinds that moisturize your skin and contain minerals that will help your skin recover.

Make a regular habit of getting proper rest, drinking water frequently, and removing your makeup before bed. Before you know it, you'll be feeling better and looking your best. You do not need the self tanning products to enhance your appearance, mother nature helps!
